A new visual identity for the Adolf-Grimme-Institute. 2006

The idea was to design a logo that is related to the history of the institution while creating a bridge to new media and the manifoldness of the Adolf-Grimme-Institute. The form of the logo is based on the Grimme-Preis, a trophy that was designed in 1963 at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm by a group of students under supervision of Otl Aicher.

The Adolf-Grimme-Institut is one of Germany's most well-known research and service institutions studying media culture, media education and communications policy. The institute's functions lie in observing, analyzing and evaluating the media and their development, in the opening up of new possibilities in the use of the media, and in transferring competence and knowledge between social groups.

Cooperation with Triad Berlin and Serge Rompza.
